On August 1, 2024, the practical part of DAISEC's 3D printing workshop series<\/a> offered participants the unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of 3D printing. The event was designed to provide hands-on experience and learn how to use 3D printers. Participants were not only able to try out setting up a 3D printer to produce manufacturing parts, but also received valuable tips on post-processing the printed products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the regular online introductory workshops, which provide a theoretical overview, this face-to-face event enabled participants to gain their first practical experience with the Material Extrusion (MEX) and Vat Photopolymerization (VPP) printing processes. Various post-processing methods were then presented, which could be applied to the freshly printed parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For anyone interested in taking part in the next series of events introducing 3D printing, the next date has already been set: the first online module <\/strong>of the introductory workshops will start again on August 29, 2024. In addition, another hands-on session<\/strong> will be offered on November 7, 2024, which will again focus on the practical applications of 3D printing on site in Braunschweig. Interested parties can register here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
