The focus of the expert panel on innovation and business development organised by the Innovation and Technology Advisory Centres (BIT), which took place in Hanover from 10 to 12 March 2026, was on how businesses can be provided with targeted support in their day-to-day operations during times of transformation. The meeting was organised by the Central Coordination Office for Technology Transfer (ZLS) at the Heinz-Piest Institute for Craft Technology (HPI), which provides scientific support to the Innovation and Technology Officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the three-day programme, 32 participants came together to discuss current developments, practical examples and opportunities for exchange relating to innovation and business development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the third day of the event, DAISEC placed a specific focus on current developments in the field of artificial intelligence with a presentation entitled \u201cAgentic AI & Co\u201d by its Managing Director, Dr Daniel Kudenko. In doing so, he introduced a topic that is becoming increasingly important for the practical application of AI in businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation was supplemented by DAISEC expert Walter Pirk, who specialises in supporting knowledge transfer within the skilled trades sector and within trade association structures. In his presentation on DAISEC\u2019s work, he demonstrated how knowledge transfer, practical demonstrations and the exchange of experiences have successfully complemented one another over the past three years. At the same time, he highlighted the insights that can be drawn from this for the continued support of craft organisations and businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAISEC was delighted to be able to contribute significant insights to the expert panel, particularly in the field of AI, and to play an active role in shaping the dialogue. The event made it clear that dialogue between industry, academia and knowledge transfer structures is a key factor in successfully supporting businesses through their digital transformation in the long term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
