How can artificial intelligence be put to good use in day-to-day business operations, and what legal requirements need to be taken into account? These and other questions were addressed at the event ‘AI Skills for Female Entrepreneurs’, held on 25 August 2026 at e.novum in Lüneburg.
The varied programme brought together female entrepreneurs with experts from the worlds of business, academia and public sector organisations. Various workshops and talks covered topics including generative AI as a creative sparring partner, AI in marketing, digital assistance systems and the use of AI in the office. The programme was complemented by an information gallery featuring the project partners of the KI.NON innovation network, which provided a space for one-to-one discussions, networking and professional exchange.
Leonie Hormig, an expert in digital transformation, and Pia Staudenmaier, a lawyer, attended the event on behalf of DAISEC. In her keynote presentation, ‘The new European AI regulation – An introduction to the AI Regulation’, Pia provided a clear overview of the fundamentals of the European AI Regulation. The focus was on the risk-based regulatory framework, the various areas of application, and key obligations for companies and self-employed individuals who develop, use or market AI systems.
