With a webinar on Cybersecurity on January 25, 2022, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Brussels time, the Trade and Technology Council of the European Union and United States will launch a series of training / listening sessions for European and U.S. SMEs on digital transformation.
The first part of the webinar will focus on how SMEs can detect cybercriminals and online threats, protect themselves from cyber risks, and how SMEs can cybersecure the products and services they sell. In the second part, SMEs are invited to describe their biggest cybersecurity challenges, share best practices and make suggestions on how the Council can improve policy support for SMEs.

- Introduction (10 min) - The chairs of TTC Working Group 9 welcome the participants and introduce the objective of the webinar
- Cybersecurity training for SMEs (50 min) - Training as well as Q&A
- Field report (50 min) - SME experiences with cybersecurity, SME suggestions for policy makers to improve uptake of cybersecurity
- Conclusion (10 min) - Chairs of TTC Working Group 9 summarize key findings from the webinar
Since the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 750 people, interested parties are asked to fill out the registration form as soon as possible.
All confirmed participants will receive a link to the meeting shortly before the event. All non-confirmed participants can access the recording of the training after the event. The discussion will not be recorded.
The European Commission is also interested in the challengesyou face in relation to digital transformation and is therefore asking you to take part in a survey to find out which digital challenges are most significant to you.
