A central element involved the Mobile factoryA central element involved the mobile factory. Participants were able to use a configurator to customize various features of a model car and specify a personal engraving. Once the configuration was complete, a QR code was generated that could be used to call up the digital twin of the personalized product. An administration shell was used as standard. The product then passed through the production and assembly stations before being customized using laser engraving. An additional station was dedicated to quality analysis, in which AI-supported object recognition was used. The quality specifications were checked here with the support of a collaborative robot. The participants actively accompanied all steps up to the completion and assembly of the model car.
The entrepreneurs and managers were also given an insight into specific support services, including free workshops and webinars, the development of digitalization strategies and prototype solutions.
The event was organized by the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hannover in cooperation with the DAISEC.
