Our qualification programmes are training courses that associations and organizations can book for their members. In the training courses, member companies acquire basic knowledge on various digitalization topics. They can then build on this with individual, practical in-depth training courses and training modules from our associated partners. By mutual agreement, we offer them a portfolio of measures that are precisely tailored to the company's sector and area of work.

IT information and training series (online)
on the topic of “Cyber security in small and medium-sized craft businesses”
Overview
Hardly anything works in the office and at work without IT, but how can we better protect ourselves against cyber attacks? What do we do in an emergency if an attack occurs? We will explore these questions in this series of events.
Participants will gain a comprehensive insight into significant and particularly relevant attacks, risks and dangers for companies. They will learn about practical and effective countermeasures. If they are already working with an IT service provider, they will be able to ask targeted and meaningful questions. They will also discover options for action to improve risk management in their company and strengthen IT security in the long term.
Target group
Offer for business owners and managers
Program contents
In the 3-part online seminar series on the topic of “Cyber security in small and medium-sized craft businesses”, we provide basic knowledge on protection against AI and discuss practical applications in craft businesses.
Part 1: Empowering people - preventing phishing, weak passwords and more
In the first part, we discuss how employees can be sensitized to the topic of IT security. We also clarify which cyber attacks are directed against employees and which countermeasures against phishing, weak passwords and the like are useful and necessary.
Part 2: Vulnerabilities in the system - detecting and avoiding vulnerabilities in software and hardware
The second part of the series focuses on improving the participants' response time to system vulnerabilities and acute attacks. To this end, they learn how to recognize and avoid existing vulnerabilities in their company's IT. For example, reports are given on vulnerabilities in website software. But how serious are the vulnerabilities and is the vulnerability relevant for your own company?
Part 3: Responding professionally to security incidents
In the third part of the series, we will discuss what steps need to be taken if a security incident has occurred and threatens the company. The aim of this event is to develop a comprehensive action plan for your own company. This plan should enable you to react in a coordinated and level-headed manner in an emergency and to consistently take the right steps to minimize the potential damage. One focus is on ransomware attacks.
