On September 22, 2023, the fourth and final module of the AI info series for the carpentry trade was successfully concluded. A total of 20 participating entrepreneurs and managers received a basic introduction to the topic of artificial intelligence as well as valuable tips on how to successfully integrate AI into their companies during the seminar series.
The program also offered insights into the possibilities of further developing the business model of craft enterprises in the digital environment. The findings on the application of AI in the skilled trades were finally highlighted in the areas of design and planning, manufacturing and production, and marketing and customer interaction.
Subsequent practical demonstrations with Stable Diffusion and Chat GPT 4 sparked great interest and motivated the participants to further develop their skills in dealing with AI together in the group. In order to further support them, DAISEC and the Association of the Joinery Trade of Lower Saxony/Bremen intend to develop a follow-up concept for the AI Info series.
